The boards and binding are solid and tight.  Some shelf-wear and chipping to spine and board edges. The pages are crisp and generally clean clean save for library stamps on the inside board and first blank page with small tear as well as very light moisture stain on the top corner of pages 2-4, a small moisture stain pages 60-78 at very bottom and last two blank pages. The text pages are clear, crisp and easily legible. Interesting charts throughout, including information on the phases of the moon in relation to growing plants. A great, scarce 180-year-old historical resource with unique and forgotten techniques on the cultivation of flowering plants.
