The book details the movements, achievements, and experiences of Company L, 107th U.S. Infantry, from October 1917 when the soldiers started their infantry training in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It traces the war in Europe, and the welcome home in New York City on April 2, 1919. Featured are the names of the men and officers, as well as decorations and citations. Names are provided of those who were killed in action or died from wounds; missing in action; and those who were transferred or discharged.
A very scarce copy with firm binding; rubbed corners and edges; chafed spine ends; wear to boards, with discoloration present to front & back; toning and light foxing to first few pages; small repaired tear to top edge of one page; interior is clean and free of markings.
