Very scarce copy of "Malayan Nursery Rhymes," first edition, first printing by A.W. Hamilton. Numerous examples nursery rhymes translated in the Malay language, with wonderful illustrations by W.G. Stirling. The stock card boards and binding are solid and tight with a slight crack along the front board and some shelf-wear. The inside boards and corresponding pages have some foxing. Small rip to bottom of title page. The text pages are crisp and clean save for the last text page which has some toning. Includes a Vocabulary section at the end of the book. A wonderful little book, scarce, printed by the Methodist Publishing House in Singapore in 1947.
