Abbie Graham (May 28, 1889 - February 1972) was a successful non-fiction author during a significant time, with many changes occurring in the rights of Women in the United States. Eleven of her books were published from 1923 through 1942 by the Woman's Press, New York. Her works covered many subjects, including spirituality, race relations, Girl's Camp activities, travel, Women's suffrage (documentary and biographical). She also wrote the biography of Grace Hoadley Dodge, an important part of the women's suffrage movement. These books provide detailed and unique information regarding the struggles of women in America, and those who struggled to redefine their rights. During her long leadership role with the YWCA (Young Womans Christian Assn.), Graham maintained a long-term relationship with fellow YWCA secretary and writer Grace Coyle.
