Complete three-volume hardcover set with full leather boards; gilt decorations; raised bands to spine; marbled endpapers and text block. Pagination: 427pp; 323pp and 380pp. THE ETONIAN was a school periodical published at Eton College between October 1820 and August 1821. It contained essays, poems, and articles reflecting the thoughts and opinions of the students, offering a glimpse into college student life during the early 19th century.
For all volumes: firm binding; rubbed corners and edges; rubbing to leather covering on spine; periodic age-toning and foxing; interior is clean and free of markings. Volume I has an inked inscription from 1836 to front free endpaper, and spine label is missing. Volumes II & III are also missing some of the spine labels. All books are carefully packed, and shipped in boxes.
