Details + Condition: A scarce vintage 1965 Grand Etteilla Tarot deck, in the coveted French version. In French: Manière de Tirer le Grand Etteilla, ou Tarots Égyptiens. From the box of a later (English) vintage edition: "Very ancient Tarot created and played by the Ancients, Egyptians and Gypsies in the middle ages, also referred to in that great book the Cabala. Every card has its meaning - from the Evangelic Card to the Snake Card. The 118 figures give you the best interpretation of occult Science and Symbolism." Includes box, instruction booklet, and tarot cards. The complete set of 78 cards are all present, and remain IN THEIR ORIGINAL ORDER. The instruction booklet is clean, with no markings, and the covers show minor wear, with a bit of discoloration. The box shows heavy wear, with one side flap missing, an old price tag, and general rubbing to edges and corners. All cards are in very good condition, and remain in their original order; the blank card shows some foxing or slight discoloration.
