Essay topics include the mind and the brain, resurrection of the dead, the afterlife and Hell, good and evil in Spiritualism, and reincarnation, karma, and Theosophy. Interior hinges cracked, but binding remains firm; rubbed corners and edges; wear to original boards, with discoloration present; Johns Hopkins bookplate on inside front board (as well as perforated and small stamps to title/copyright pages); interior is free of markings.
