IN THE NEXT WORLD: ACTUAL NARRATIVES OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCES BY THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED ON
Book Details + Condition: Theosophical Publishing House (London). Early Edition, 1918. Hardcover. Small octavo. 104 pages. The author, Alfred Percy Sinnett (1840–1921), was a British resident of India, who became one of HP Blavatsky's closest followers after he visited with her in 1880. He and his wife were the main recipients of the "Mahatma letters" - which he also references at length, and which would later cause much controversy and dissension within and without the Society. Sinnett wrote a number of books on Theosophy and spiritualism, including this collection of reminiscences from those who have passed to the "other side". Firm binding; wear to boards, with discoloration present to both sides; toning to endpapers; interior is clean and free of markings.
