Dark red leather covers with gilt decoration to spine. Approximately 190 pages per volume. Three volumes containing the works of celebrated 19th-century American Gothic author Edgar Allan Poe. Each book features a frontispiece photograph of Poe and two of his homes, respectively. Writings include "The Black Cat," "The Fall of the House of Usher," "The Masque of the Red Death," "The Pit and the Pendulum," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "Eleanora," and many more. All volumes have firm binding; rubbing to leather covers, with wear at edges; interior is clean and free of markings save owner info to front free endpapers. Volume I has a bit more wear to upper spine covering/binding.
