Book Details + Condition: Billy News (New Orleans). Vintage facsimile Mardi Gras edition, 1963. Very scarce. Small stapled softcover measuring 6.5" x 4". Unpaginated, 80 pages. A scarce exact reproduction of the New Orleans' "The Blue Book" from the 1890s. The book was a directory marketed to tourists, and provides detailed descriptions of prostitutes - giving their names, addresses and specialities - in the Red-Light district, otherwise known as "Storyville". In very good condition, with firm binding; minor wear to covers, with a bit of sunning to extremities; interior is clean and free of markings.
