'By' Lauron William de Laurence (1868 - 1936), renowned plagiarist and publisher of occult goods and literature. See complete title above. Blue-green cloth boards, with gilt title on front and title (etc) on spine. 176 pages, with colored illustrations of cards from the A.E. Waite / Pamela Colman Smith tarot deck. Effectively a pirated edition, the work is actually A.E. Waite's "The Pictorial Key to the Tarot" (1911), which De Laurence stole, resetting it, changing the title slightly, and publishing it under his own name. A solid and clean copy, with tight binding; light wear to boards, with some pale smudging / aging to cloth; lightly bumped corners; clean interior, free of markings.
