Book Details + Condition: Scarce original 1967 Dorene Publishing edition of Lewis De Claremont's THE ANCIENT BOOK OF FORMULAS — "the most complete book covering the Occult and Mystic Sciences ever published in the English language." 94 pages, followed by advertisements. Originally published in 1940, and then reprinted with this edition, and long out-of-print. In the book, De Claremont famously explores the occult properties of incenses, anointing oils, bath and sachet powders, inks, cosmetic preparations, and perfumes. In very good condition: only minimal wear to soft covers; interior is clean and free of writing save blank ex-libris plate on inside cover and crossed-out info on title page (common with other publishers and distributers, as evidenced on front cover).
