Wallis Budge was a lauded historian who was knighted for his service to the British Museum in 1920. This catalog describes the artifacts in the museum and includes reproductions of hieroglyphics, but does not include images of the objects, which range from mummies and sarcophagi to canopic jars, stelae, and sculpture. Red cloth binding with gilt text to spine (possibly rebound). A very scarce copy with firm binding and a clean interior, free of markings.
