Book measures 8" x 5.5". Bayard Taylor (January 11, 1825 – December 19, 1878) was an American poet, travel author, and diplomat. This is an extensive and detailed mid-19th century travelogue of Taylor's travels throughout the East. Tight binding, shelf wear to boards; rubbing to corners and edges; fading to spine; foxing present mainly in the beginning and end of the book; interior is otherwise clean and free of markings.
