Rebound hardcover measuring 6.5" x 4.25". Illustrated. 174 pages (for entire volume). Culpeper’s famous medical and astrological work, which details how to diagnose and treat illness from the position of celestial bodies. The book contains translations from Aven Ezra (Ibn Ezra, 1089-1164, Spanish astrologer, mathematician and philosopher), Noel Duret (1590-1650, French mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer), and Hippocrates (c.460-c.370 BC, Greek physician), with explanations and additions by Culpeper. URINALIA is Culpeper's signature work on the treatment of urinary diseases, using astrology as a diagnosis tool. Both works helped to popularize the use of Astrology in the diagnosis of illness.
