We have received an authentic copy of Nicholas Culpeper's "The Complete Herbal," from 1814 in poor condition. However, the hand-colored engravings are beautiful and should be treasured. This botanical engraving is plate #12 and has 12 individually colored herbs for medicinal use. The plate covers herbs from Groundsell to Harts Tongue. Please see pictures for condition. ALSO, we are including the original accompanying text pages describing the medical use of some of the plants. Measurements: 8.5"x 10" in width and length.
