A comprehensive Materia Medica by the well known physician, Thomas D. Mirchell. Includes a comprehensive and lengthy contents and index. Front board appears to have been re-attached at some point, but binding remains solid and firm; rubbed corners and edges; normal wear to leather boards; chafing to spine ends; toning to endpapers; spotting to text block (which doesn't bleed to inside pages); interior is clean and free of markings, save an old small stamp to front endpaper, and a few areas of foxing and toning.
