Folio, hardbound copy, black cloth spine, cream paper boards, front and back pages with chips and minor tears to fore-edges which were skillfully repaired.
This is a special copy, with presentation from the author to William Gladstone, Member of Parliament, and also belonging to Joscelyn Godwin. Godwin is a well noted composer, musicologist, and translator, known for his work on ancient music, paganism and music in the occult.
