In exceedingly well preserved condition. 399 pages with 210 beautiful "engravings on wood." Half calf leather and marbled boards with gilt raised bands; marbled endpapers. All pages with three sided gilt fore-edge. The boards and binding are solid and tight with minimal shelfwear. The pages are crisp and clean save for a sport or two of very light foxing on the title page, and inscription from 1903 on second blank page. All other pages and illustrations are crisp and clean. Includes Arundel and Warwick Castles, Chatsworth, Hatfield House and much more.
