A very scarce presentation copy (please see stamp on title page) of a grimoire of occult magic practices by The Grand Orient, or AE Waite: divination, conjuring and summoning ceremonies, of spirits and other worldly creatures, and channeling genie wisdom. First edition from 1912, in well preserved condition. Dark red boards with gilt decorations and titling; 277 pages with William Rider advertisements at rear. Illustrations include fold-out Wheel of Wisdom frontis. The boards and binding are solid and tight, save for some fading to the spine and overall light shelfwear. Strip of binding tape along the inside board and the first blank page and page one.
