The pages are crisp and clean, and free of interior markings. The dust jacket is in very well preserved condition with minor shelfwear, and is protected by a mylar plastic jacket. It remains uncut. A true first edition, first printing with "BGH" in the top corner of the inside DJ, which only appears on the first printing. An extensive collection of material on witchcraft and other occult practices from a variety of times and cultures. The author, Harry E. Wedeck (1894-1996), was a linguist, classical scholar and writer whose literary forays into non-mainstream subjects included "Dictionary of Astrology," "A Dictionary of Aphrodisiacs," "A Treasury of Witchcraft" and "Triumph of Satan." His "A Treasury of Witchcraft" is effectively an encyclopedia of witchcraft and the occult arts.
