Dying of the Light by George R.R. Martin – First Edition First Printing 1977 HC/DJ Near Mint Condition and SIGNED!

Publisher Simon and Schuster, New York 1977

1st U.S. trade edition/1st printing (NOT a book club edition). SIGNED by the author (Game of Thrones, etc.) on the title page. The book is in Mint condition and is clean, very tight with no soiling or handwriting other than the author's signature. The dust jacket is in near mint condition with no chips, tears or fading. Its only flaw is some very small age related slight discoloration along the rear inside flap's border. Comes with a protective Mylar plastic cover.

Lovely copy of the author's 3rd book, and quite scarce as a signed 1st trade edition.

Acquired at the estate of a noted Sci-fi collector and circuit follower throughout the 1960s-90s. He was intimately involved with the world's top Sci-fi authors and was often asked to do review readings of their works. We currently have 200+ editions from his estate, all in very good to mint condition — including first editions, signed copies, and review copies of famous works.
