Francis on Spiritualism, subtitled "Opinions and Experiences from Eminent Sources." Francis offers a curious compilation of facts and speculations on the subject of death and the afterlife. Includes accounts of death and near-death experiences, as well as mediumship and its uses, and more. Sparsely illustrated, with dark red cloth covers featuring gilt lettering. Later volumes were issued separately in the following years. A solid and clean copy of a scarce first edition set, with firm binding; light wear to boards, with a bit of discoloration present; toned pages; interior is clean and free of markings.
