An inquiry into the effects of length, bore, and charge, upon the range, etc. of the piece, and remarks upon the articles of powder, shot, wadding. Further instruction on art of shooting, training pointers, description of game. An overall firm and clean copy, with some wear to leather boards; cracked inside spine (but binding remains firm); leather boards appear to have been re-attached at some point; rubbed corners and edges; light wear to boards, with what may be the remnants of old tape; repairs to leather of spine; blank Art Nouveau bookplate on inside front cover; interior is clean and free of markings save sporadic foxing and normal age-toning to pages.
