In overall near mint condition. A beautiful copy of "Field Days in California" from 1913, by Bradford Torrey. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs; 235 pages. Dark green boards with gilt decorations of poppies and writing on front and on spine. The boards and binding are solid and tight with minimal shelf-wear. The pages are crisp and clean save for some slight toning to the first blank page. A wonderful textual and visual (via photographs) survey of a naturalist's travels through the untouched varied landscapes of California.
