Highly rare, SIGNED first edition first printing of "The First Hundred Years: A Short History of Cobb County Georgia" from 1935. 901 pages. Also included (an estate find) in the rear inside board pocket is "Georgia Descendants of Nathaniel Pope of Virginia & John Humphries of South Carolina and Allen Gay of North Carolina," by John D. Humphries, a 1st/1st from 1934 (soft cover / pamphlet).

The binding is very tight. The boards are solid. Shelfwear and chipping to bottom spine with slightly rubbed and bumped corners. Natural discoloration on spine and bottom rear boards. Inside, previous owner's signature in front inside board. Staining, previous owner's notes and inside pocket holding SC book on inside rear board and corresponding blank page. The remaining pages are crisp and clean save for spots of light small stains on the fore-edges. Missing back-board pocket map. A wonderful and very scarce historical book on Cobb County, GA written in the early 20th century — signed by the author.
