ORIGINAL "GONE WITH THE WIND" JUNIOR LEAGUE WORLD PREMIERE BALL BOOK / PROGRAM, 1939 WITH PROVENANCE – CONSTANCE KNOWLES DRAPER

 Details + Condition: Rare original "Atlanta Junior League World Premiere Ball" official program for the Junior League's "Gone With the Wind" Premiere Ball, held on December 14th, 1939 at the Atlanta Civic Auditorium — the night before the film premiere. Scarce and only available to those who attended the ball. The program contains 100 pages of pictures, stories and advertisements, including many ads featuring GWTW related products such as "Scarlett Chocolates" by Nunnallys. Also includes a two-page story by Walter Winchell, with copies of the stars' signatures. In addition is a newspaper clipping detailing the Junior League's Scarlett contest, with Constance Knowles Draper (provenance of this book and other ephemera we are listing for sale), photographed. Minor wear to covers, with rubbing at edges. Please see photos for condition and details. Measures 6"x9".

Part of a collection of GWTW memorabilia purchased from the estate of Francis Knowles Draper. Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Draper was a finalist for the GWTW Junior league ball's Scarlet O'Hara dress contest.
