"Head Hunters of the Amazon: Seven Years of Exploration and Adventure" documents the 7-year experience of the author living with the head hunters of the Amazon in the early 20th century, all in a first edition from 1923. Complete with very rare, art deco-styled dust jacket. The book is in excellent condition, with only slight shelf-wear. Previous owner's paste-down bookplate on inside front board. The pages and illustrations are crisp and clean. The dust jacket is in very good condition save for some minor chipping to the top of the spine and upper front board corner, as well as a small repaired tear to the front of the DJ. A fascinating read and perspective from the early 20th century.
