Bigler, 1881. A very interesting look at a Seminary school for young girls in the 19th century, written as a souvenir about the Moravian Seminary For Young Girls in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Included in the book is a roster of all girls attending from 1785 - 1858. The boards and binding are solid and tight, with light shelf-wear and rubbed corners. Three-quarter leather binding, with gilt decorations on boards; 608 pages. Paste-down on inside front board. The pages and illustrations are crisp and clean. Inside first (blank) page is missing. A rare and unusual illustrated history from the 19th century.
