Original decorated gray-blue cloth, with green titling on spine and front board, along with silver gilt scarab overlaid and seven stars of the Big Dipper motif. "Published February 1904" printed on verso of title page. An occult/horror novel by Bram Stoker (1847-1912) , the Irish writer who gained fame as the author of "Dracula." "The Jewel of the Seven Stars" recounts the story of a young man who is drawn into an archaeologist's (not surprisingly ill-fated) plans to revive the mummy of an ancient Egyptian Queen. Overall a sound and internally clean copy: book has a light lean; rubbed spine ends, corners and edges; small blemish on title page.
