Book of poetry and prose by African American writer John Webster Fields, who was active in the Detroit area in the 20th century. This edition features a frontispiece showing a photograph of the poet, and is signed by Fields to the title page. Firm binding; light wear to covers, with slight fading to extremities; a bit of scuffing to inside rear cover; interior is clean and free of markings save owner stamp and author signature to title page and owner stamp to last text page.
