MAGICK by Aleister Crowley; Edited, Annotated and Introduced by John Symonds and Kenneth Grant — First Edition / First Printing, 1973 HC/DJ with PRINTER'S ERROR on DUST JACKET

Publisher: Routledge and Kegan Paul, London (1973)

First edition from 1973 of Aleister Crowley's MAGICK, edited and annotated with an introduction by John Symonds and Kenneth Grant. This first issue has the O.T.O. lamen on the spine of the dust jacket printed upside-down, an error that was corrected in later printings. A great find for Crowley collectors; please see photograph. The boards and binding are solid and tight with minimal wear. The pages are crisp and clean save for small Helios book service label (British) on the bottom of the first blank page. Otherwise, pages are crisp and clean. The dust jacket is in very good condition, and remains uncut with its original price of 10 pounds. 511 pages. The first issue of the first printing of the Symonds' and Grant edition of Crowley's "Book Four." The volume comprises an Introduction by Symonds and Grant, and Crowley's Book Four Part I (Mysticism), Part II (Magick), and Part III (commonly known as "Magick in Theory and Practice.")
