3-volume boxed set collected by Micha Joseph bin Gorion of MIMEKOR YISRAEL CLASSICAL JEWISH FOLKTALES. The three
volumes are set in the publisher's original slipcase; they have
seemingly never been read and are each in very good condition: the binding is tight and solid; all pages are crisp and
clean. The box is sturdy and strong with slight wear. This fascinating work is
a collection of more than 1000 classical Jewish folktales compiled by Micha
Joseph bin Gorion. The 34 tales "served to instruct children in Jewish
history and religion, to entertain women in their hours of leisure, and to
delight men during their learning and trade".
