- Condition: The binding is tight and in good condition. The boards and binding are solid but the leather has a few rips and tears. The spine has blackended. On the back board, a major piece of the top layer of leather has been torn off. (Please see pics). Ink stains on the last two blank pages and some minor foxing on the first blank page. The remaining text pages are clean. Overall a solid copy of 175 years!
