black decorations on front board, blind-stamped decorations on rear board. In very good condition: Spine ends chafed, boards lightly
chafed, corners rubbed, pages lightly toned and occasional browning / marks on pages, small tear to upper
endpaper repaired with old tape, former owner name in pencil, otherwise clean of other markings. A fascinating period piece, written at
the height of the spiritualist movement that was sweeping the world at the end
of the 19th century. Covers the Higher and Lower Heavens (including the
