Original light brown/tan decorated cloth boards with gilt elaborate decorations and titling to front and spine; Dulac personally designed this edition, its decorated endpapers, page borders, and leaves before each tipped-in plate. 250 pages. Includes 28 beautiful full-page, tipped-in color plates of illustrations by Edmund Dulac; all plates are present. Book measures 11.25" x 9". Famous and beautifully illustrated fairytale compilation includes the stories The Snow Queen, The Real Princess, The Garden of Paradise, The Mermaid, The Emperor's New Clothes, and more.
