"The Sword of Moses" is a 13th- or 14th-century Hebrew book of magic, the text of which Moses Gaster first published, along with translation and commentaries, in the original 1896 edition (which is available at our store — please see our listing for this very scarce first edition). Gaster himself thought the text to date from somewhere between the 4th and 11th centuries CE. The original manuscript, which was in his personal collection, is now in the British Library. In very good condition, with little wear (if any).
