Very scarce, SIGNED, first edition, first printing of "Tales of the Open For Little Folks" by Virginia Louise Brooks, from 1921. Beautifully and whimsically illustrated by Elizabeth Blanchard Catlin. Dark green boards with paste-down on front cover; 55 pages. The boards and binding are solid and tight save for very light shelf-wear. The pages are crisp and clean, save for previous owner's small bookplate on the inside board (same owner to whom the author dedicated the book), and author dedication on the first blank page. A sweet and beautiful book. Stories include:
