author gives detailed evidence for the accent of Witchcraft set out in his
previous volume. The epidemic that
occurred is treated as it appeared in various countries and comprehensive
chapters deal with Greece, Rome, England, Scotland, New England, France,
Germany, Italy and Spain. In overall very well
preserved condition. The pages are crisp and clean. The boards and binding are solid and tight, with little
shelfwear. Boards show a few light spots, spine ends and corners bumped and a bit chafed, spine a little faded, page-edges browned, otherwise a solid unmarked very good copy.
