- Condition: Book is showing normal wear for its age and use. It has slight wear to bottom of spine (see pics). Slight paper separation on inside boards from book spine, but the boards are firmly in place. A small section of the inside decorative pages has been damaged (See pic). Two of the cooking plates have been mounted upside down. This error is original to the book (see pics). Such printing errors can add to a collector / book value.
A highly collectible and beautiful book, and a wonderful guide and insight of how a late 19th century housewife was encourged to manage her household.
