THREE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES IN SOMERSET COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA, Bulletin No. 753 — Department of Public Instruction by Mary Butler, 1st Edition 1st Printing 1939

Publisher: Pennsylvania Historical Commission, Harrisburg (1939)

Highly interesting analysis and documentation of three Monongahela Woodland American Indian archaeological sites excavated in Somerset County, Pennsylvania in 1939. Photographs, illustrations, and maps (many large fold-out maps) provide great detail of the excavation discoveries, and provide insight into the native Monongahela Woodland culture. Overall in excellent condition. Blue boards with gilt writing and decorations; 79 pages. The boards and binding are solid and tight, with little shelf-wear. The pages are crisp and clean save for Davenport Museum stamp on the top of the first blank page.
