Very rare, 4-volume set of "Tracts and Other Papers Relating to the Origin, Settlement and Progress of the North American Colonies," a 1963 reprint of the original 1836-1846 editions. The four volumes are in excellent condition. The boards of all volumes are solid and tight and in excellent condition with very slight shelfwear. The pages are crisp and clean. The volumes do not appear to have been read.

Howes F-247 (for the original): Some of the 52 tracts appeared here in print for the first time." Sabin 25059: "Most interesting and valuable series of reprints of the rarest tracts relating to America, all of which are noticed in this dictionary, under their respective names." Larned 848: "Indispensable to all students. By far the largest number of the tracts concern the history of the South, but some of the most important have to do with New England."
