Masonic lodge's bookplate on inside front board indicating acceptance of this book into the library. Grimaldi's book serves as a valuable reference to surviving pictorial and symbolic representations of the zodiac in world cultures over a wide period of history, spanning 1320 B.C.E. to 1900 C.E.

Exceedingly scarce, as we are unable to find any copies of the book - or ANY book by Grimaldi - for sale or in public collections (with this one including a handwritten note). Firm binding; rubbed corners and edges, with a bit more rubbing to front corner; light wear to covers; interior is clean and free of markings, save author's note and Lodge's bookplate and notations.
